Welcome to SPRITZ
Though our name might seem unusual, it has a charming origin. When we opened our doors in 2019, we were an Italian aperitivo bar, serving classic Italian cocktails like the Aperol Spritz alongside a selection of appetizers. In 2020, we embraced a new direction, transforming into a fully plant-based restaurant. This shift allowed us to fulfill our chef's lifelong dream of offering delectable, simple dishes paired with exceptional wines and our signature cocktails. While we've evolved, we’ve kept the name as a nod to our roots, and we’re still celebrated for our fantastic Spritz cocktails.
About the Chef
Luna Trapani, our talented chef, combines her Italian and Belgian heritage to demonstrate that plant-based eating can be both exciting and flavorful.
Raised in her parents' Italian restaurant, "GALLO NERO," Luna gained a deep appreciation for Italian cuisine. When she transitioned to plant-based cooking, she discovered that many Italian dishes already highlight plant-based ingredients. She also enjoys researching and testing how to create plant-based versions of classic Italian ingredients.
To share her passion, she authored three Italian plant-based cookbooks: Veganista, Vegetalia, and Veganissima. Additionally, Luna offers free vegan Italian recipes on her website and Instagram, making it easy for you to recreate her dishes at home.
