HISTORY

SPRITZ, our name might seem a little odd, but when we first opened our doors in 2019 we were an Italian apero bar serving only Italian cocktails like the Aperol Spritz and a few appetizers and so the name was born. Since our transition, in 2020, into a fully vegan restaurant we started our chef’s childhood dream, bringing delicious, simple food to the table, paired with good wines and our signature cocktails! We kept the name for old times sake and we are still known for our banging Aperol spritz ;).

ABOUT THE CHEF

Our chef, Luna Trapani, who is the daughter of an Italian father and Belgian mother, wants to show that eating plant-based doesn't have to be boring and bland, it’s actually pretty simple and delicious!

Growing up in the restaurant of her parents, “GALLO NERO”, she learned a lot about Italian food and since diving into the plant-based world she discovered that a huge part of the Italian cuisine already revolves around vegetables. To showcase even more how simple it can be; She wrote three Italian plant based cookbooks ‘Veganista’ , ‘Vegetalia’ and ‘Veganissima’. Apart from the books she also shares free vegan Italian recipes on her Blog/Instagram for you to make at home.

OUR FOOD

At Spritz we serve delicious and simple Italian food, with our focus on pasta. Ranging from popular classics like carbonara, lasagna and tiramisu to more unknown regional dishes from north to south of Italy. Honouring the simplicity of Italian cooking. Apart from our classic menu we also have changing suggestion dishes that change with the season and ideas of our chef. We created a unique dining experience in a true southern Italian setting. We welcome everyone to enjoy our honest Italian food and of course our delicious cocktails and wines! ;)
